Celebrating African Excellence in the Pacific Northwest and Beyond
The African Achievement Awards were established in 2019 to recognize, honor, and celebrate the achievements of African individuals, groups, and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to their communities. Held annually in the Pacific Northwest, this prestigious red-carpet event shines a spotlight on the excellence of African immigrants in fields such as leadership, community service, education, entertainment, fashion, and sports.
With the goal of fostering pride, unity, and collaboration within the African diaspora, the African Achievement Awards have become a beacon of African success. Our event celebrates the resilience, creativity, and dedication of those whose work has had a positive impact both locally and globally.
In 2022 and 2023, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the African Achievement Awards transitioned to a virtual format, broadcast by Channel A TV across all major social media platforms. Despite the challenges of a global pandemic, we continued to recognize and celebrate the successes of the African immigrant community. As we move forward into 2024, the Awards will continue to provide a platform for African excellence to be acknowledged and shared with the world.
