Arikana Chihombori-Quao is a medical doctor and activist. She is a public speaker, educator, diplomat, founder of medical clinics, and an entrepreneur. She moved to the United States after living many years in Zimbabwe. She is the CEO and founder of Bell Family Medical Centers in the United States. She was the African Union representative to the US. She was appointed in 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in General Chemistry, a master’s degree in organic chemistry, and a Doctor of Medicine degree. Chihombori was a family medicine specialist in Tennessee. She practiced medicine for 29 years in MurfreesboroTennessee.

Chihombori is outspoken about the implications of the Berlin Conference that took place in Berlin, Germany, in 1885. She lectures about the outcome of the divisions on the continent of Africa that were made. She sees these divisions as a cause of some of Africa’s problems that are still in effect today. She seeks to reunite African states, and Africans in the Diaspora.

The EriAm Sisters, short for “Eritrean American Sisters”, consist of three sisters: Haben, Salina and Lianda. Salina and Lianda were born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Haben was born in SeattleUnited States. Their parents are from Eritrea, and their father Mulugheta Abraham was a musician back home. The sisters were raised with music as an integral part of their life. After few years of singing at home for family members, they posted their songs on YouTube. Soon, the first invitation to perform in public was received. The youngest Haben was invited to sing at an event at Disney World in Orlando (25th anniversary of Children Miracle Network). Soon after, the youngest sister appeared on Maury Povich TV show as one of the six America’s most Talented kids. That is when the sisters decided to take music seriously.

Newton Mayenge was born on June 7 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The youngest of four children; his parents are of African descent from the Democratic Republic of Congo (Formerly Zaire). He speaks fluent Lingala and has a basic proficiency in French. While he is not an only child, because of the age difference, his siblings were in college during his formative years. With a passion for basketball, he played all through his younger years and received scholarships and played in college. After graduating from the University of North Carolina with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and African-American Studies, he played professional basketball in Germany. After a car crash ended his dreams of playing in the NBA, he turned to his next love, performing. Since then, he has been seen on fashion show runways in in Paris, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Palm Springs. He has also been on book covers and in various films. As of 2020 he is currently the Host of “The League Talk Show” on the Vyre TV Network.
